50th Anniversary 3rd July 201112 July, 2011

We celebrated the 50th anniversary of the opening of the present church building on 3rd July with a day of special events. After breakfast in the church garden, there followed a lively all-age worship service about the Apostle Peter: how he began the Christian Church and spread the Gospel to all. In the afternoon we returned to look at the exhibition of church history, meet friends old and new and share a meal together. This was followed by a concert of varied music by church members and friends, leading into a short service of thanksgiving.
